Calendars distribute workshifts for employees. For example, a calendar with 8h-long shifts distributed from Monday to Friday, a calendar with 4h-long shifts only on Mondays and Wednesdays, a calendar with different work shifts for each day etc.
First, create Workshifts, then combine them into a calendar and lastly assign calendars to employees.
When you can assign a calendar to an employee:
- while you create a new employee
- during bulk import of multiple new employees
- it is possible to change employee´s calendar anytime
Please note that only employees with special permissions can use this Administrator functionality.
Step 1 – Settings

Click on Settings and select Attendance.
Step 2 – Calendars

Select Calendars.
Step 3 – Select company

If you have access to set up more than one company, you must create calendars for each company individually – select a Company.
Click + New Calendar.
Step 4 – Details

Select the desired settings:
- Company
- Full-time or Part-time
- Weekly fund
- Auto-generated name or your own calendar name
Worktime planning:
- Evenly or Unevenly scheduled worktime
- Select workshift
- Days – click on days to select
- Work required on public holidays
Click Save.
Then, assign calendars to employees.
