Welcome notification (activation e-mail is an e-mail notification that new users in HERON receive. It enables them to activate their account. The notification contains the instructions for creating a password.
It can be sent:
A) Individually to any employee, anytime (as you create a new employee account or even later) – in this manual
B) In bulk to more employees at once – go to manual on how to import changes & welcome notifications.
Please note that only employees with special permissions can use this functionality.
Send a welcome notification
Step 1 – Organization

Click on Organization and select Employees.
Step 2 – Select an employee

If you have access to employees in more than one company, you must first select a Company.
Click on the employee´s name.
Step 3 – Go to access settings

Scroll down to section “Access settings“.
Click on the editing icon to get into editing mode.
Step 4 – Send notification

You can send the notification in two ways:
a) Select date and time – click on the calendar icon and choose when the notification will be sent.
b) Send now – The notification is sent immediately.
Click Save.
